Founded in 2022 by Ghanaian, South-East London–born and raised designer Pokuaa Ansere, Kwaku Joseph is a Black British, female-owned menswear brand rooted in memory, community, and everyday life.

Kwaku Joseph explores the familiar moments that shape the Black British experience, the spaces we gather in, the objects we grow up with, the rituals passed between generations. From halls and parties to kitchens, markets and living rooms, the brand looks to the everyday as a place of meaning.

Through clothing, visual moments and storytelling, Kwaku Joseph reflects on the past and present, honouring older generations while documenting the worlds being built by the next. A celebration of the moments that often go unnoticed, yet hold us together.

Kwaku Joseph exists as a living archive of Black British life, personal, collective, evolving, created with care, emotion and intention.
